  Friendly service but stretched a little too thin. We arrived about an hour before a major rush and even though there were at least 8 tables empty, would told the wait would be 20-30 minutes unless we sat at the bar, which we did. My order did not come out the way it was described on the menu or with the shredded lettuce I asked to be added, but it was still pretty tasty and by the time our food arrived, their dinner rush had started so I didn't bother sending it back. In a neat, upcoming area of Downtown Winston-Salem with a few other spots you can walk to nearby before or after dining.

  The food was great. The chicken was very fresh and tender. The vegetables were very fresh and crispy and the margarita was flavorful because the tequila used was very strain and the bartender put a lot of life in the drink. The only problem is the authenticity. I have an issue with it because I don't get the Mexican feel and the Mexican food experience. 5/5 for food and 3/5 for the authenticity.

  First off I'm not a fan of Gun free zones that's always minus a star for me, the food is sub par I payed 17 bucks or something close to that for fajitas that were comprised of 5 thin slivers of steak covered in onions and peppers, for real I got like 1/2 an ounce of steak. The other downer was that the kids meal did not come with a drink for my 3 year old, who actually got more food than I did, and they charged us like 4 bucks for her drink. Bottom line if your some hipster you will legit love this place no joke. If your like me and like good food by the heaps go to el maguey in Pfafftown, they own the Mexican food scene in Winston
