  Cold Stone has great ice cream and usually very friendly staff. I love the way they mix everything together (ice cream plus "mix-ins", which would elsewhere be called toppings) so that one gets all the flavors in each bite. My favorite is the Cheesecake Fantasy with banana instead of blueberries and added almonds (extra charge to add mix-ins).
  
  If you've never been to a Cold Stone, you should know that the staff is forced to greet you when you enter and to SING if you tip them. I highly recommend tipping them, but I either sneak it into the jar when no one's looking, or I put it in while whispering to the cashier, "Don't sing." (I'm sure there are some folks who LOVE to sing every chance they get, and if they want to, of course I don't mind. Just don't want them to have to.) So, other than humiliating their employees, this place is great!
  
  The staff at this location are reasonably friendly but not saccharine. In my few experiences here, they do their jobs very well. I never have to tell them my order more than once, and they've gotten it perfect each time.
  
  Some locations have a nice little patio to sit outside. This location is, to my mind, better to get your treat to go, as it's very busy and the view is not particularly pleasant.
